These terms govern your use of sunbelttrades.com and the services provided by SunbeltTrades ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting an application or enquiry through this website, you agree to these terms.

What we do

SunbeltTrades is a recruitment and candidate-sourcing service. We connect qualified UK tradespeople with employers in Queensland, Australia, and provide guidance on the relocation process. We work alongside registered migration agents who handle visa matters.

What we don't do

• We are not migration agents. We do not provide immigration advice or lodge visa applications. All visa matters are handled by registered migration agents (registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority in Australia).
• We do not guarantee visa outcomes. Visa decisions are made solely by the Australian Department of Home Affairs. No one can guarantee a visa approval, and you should be wary of anyone who claims otherwise.
• We do not guarantee employment outcomes. While we work to match you with employers and aim to secure confirmed offers before travel, employment decisions rest with the employer.
• We are not financial, legal, or tax advisors. Relocating internationally has financial, legal, and tax implications. Seek independent professional advice for your circumstances.

Fees

Our recruitment service is free for tradespeople. We are paid by employers. You are responsible for government fees including visa application charges and skills assessment fees, which we will outline before you commit to anything. Any fees payable to migration agents for their services are between you and the agent and will be disclosed by them directly.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your application
• Hold the qualifications and experience you claim
• Respond to communications in reasonable time
• Make your own informed decision about relocating. We provide information and connections, but the decision and its consequences are yours

Actual salaries, processing times, and costs vary by individual circumstances, employer, and government processing. Nothing on this site constitutes a promise of a specific outcome.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SunbeltTrades is not liable for any loss arising from visa refusals, employment outcomes, relocation decisions, delays in government processing, or actions of third parties including employers and migration agents. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under the Australian Consumer Law or UK consumer protection legislation.
